ACTION DESCRIPTIF AMBIANCE MOUVEMENT VOL.1 .HIBOU 204

Quite rare french library from the eighties. Nice cinematic music based on synthesizers, but also guitars, drums, piano, bass, flute and cello. Some names here: Philippe Brejean, Georges Lartigau, Marc Goldfeder among others. Recommended listening!. Ici

  1. You're right ... this is a heck of a rarity. And wasn't this blog "Peruvian Feet" only last week??

  2. Just finished drinking this one in, all I can muster after that is an awe-inspired "wow." It might be from the 80s (I'd reeealy love to know the exact year,) but it has a mid-to-late 70s vibe to it that's giving me serious flashbacks!

I think I'm in love most particularly with track 13--"Openlife" by Philippe Brejean (it has a wonderful Derek Wadsworth feel to it.)

And as far as I'm concerned, as long as you keep posting albums of such high quality as this one, you can call your site Peruvian Feet, Electronic Chantecler, or Two Triple-Cheese Side Order Of Fries--just keep up the AWESOME work, man!

  3. This is astounding: thank you so much for sharing. The otherwise generous Toys and Techniques blog has teased us with a single song from this other Hibou masterpiece: http://toysandtechniques.blogspot.com/2010/12/hibou.html

If anyone could share this too it would surely set the world afire.

    Thanks again: fantastic blog!
